About Salbando - Hot Salami

Named after famed A’s 3rd baseman, and also after Mike Phil-lips’ 90s punk band, Salbando is a slightly spicy slightly funky salami. Made in the style of a hot soppressata, the Salbando has a juicy fermented flavor from the inclusions of white wine, garlic and a slow building heat from a reasonable dose of cayenne and red chili flakes.
Ingredients: Pork, salt, sugar, crushed red pepper, black pepper, white wine, garlic, potassium nitrate, lactic acid starter culture. Beef casing.
