Wholesale Customers

Gourmet Imports specializes in serving the specialty food industry in Los Angeles and Orange County and has been doing so since 1989. Whether your business is a restaurant, hotel, caterer, retail shop, bakery, or other food related entity, we almost certainly have all the products you need. As both an importer and distributor, we have access to many unique items at excellent prices. We value our loyal customers and can offer special discounts and open account terms for those who qualify.

Our wholesale program is based on frequency of purchase and/or volume. We have minimum order amounts of $250 per order in Los Angeles and $450 in Orange County. If you are outside of our direct service areas, you can setup a wholesale account with our online partner gourmetfoodworld.com who can ship anywhere in the United States.


Once your account is approved orders may be placed via email, fax, or on the phone (sorry, wholesale online ordering from us is not yet available).


We deliver to qualifying customers with our fleet of trucks in the greater Los Angeles and Orange County areas. If you are out of state or beyond our delivery area and do not have an existing account with us, you may apply for a wholesale account with our online partner gourmetfoodworld.com who can ship anywhere in the United States.


We can accommodate FEDEX and UPS shipments, as well as air freight. Because of the perishable nature of most of our products, perishable items ship to arrive overnight. All other items can ship ground. Shipping rates are calculated based on total weight shipped. Please speak with an account representative for further information.


Wholesale accounts are available only to verifiable businesses with several basic requirements as outlined below.

  1. You must have an established account with us prior to ordering – sorry, we do not offer cash and carry.
  2. Business must have a Federal Tax ID
  3. Company must be in the food, hospitality, retail industry (of course there may be exceptions so please give us a call if you are unsure)
  4. Business must operate from a recognized commercial address - sorry, we cannot deliver wholesale orders to residential addresses.


We offer several different types of account terms based on your payment preference as well as your business credit and trade history. We offer Open (Net 20) Account Terms for those who qualify. If your business has been operating for at least one year with established trade references in good standing, you may apply for open account terms. If you prefer (or do not qualify for open terms), you may elect to apply for Credit Card Terms with which we will charge your designated credit card automatically the day of delivery.
